This contest supports Inter-Disciplinary Water Education Stream & River Studies and “Meaningful Watershed Educational Experiences”.
It is open to all Virginia youth ages 5-19 years.
Ribbons and other awards for Creative Writing, Art and Photography for the following categories:- Grades K-5, 6-8 and 9-12
- Group or class projects for grades 6-8 and 9-12
Winners will be honored at receptions to be held in Richmond and Abingdon where their work will be displayed. Winning entries will also appear on the sponsors’ websites and in their newsletters
