Stewardship Virginia – April 1 – May 31
Citizens who conduct projects that enhance and conserve Virginia's natural and cultural resources that are registered as Stewardship Virginia activities can be recognized by Governor Robert F. Park Day
Park Day is a cleanup day that is recognized by the U.S. Department of Interior as a “Take Pride in America Event.” Cleanups and restoration of parks receive grant funding from the History Channel. There are 17 sites in Virginia that are participating in Park Day. To get additional information, go to: http://www.civilwar.org/aboutus/events/park-day/
 
Potomac River Watershed Cleanup

Crestwood Elementary, a Virginia Naturally school, is hosting a free family-friendly event. There will be live wildlife encounters, nature exhibits, craft activities, role planning games, nature scavenger hunts, tree identification walks, a fishing derby and live music provided by the Richmond Indigenous Gourd Orchestra. National Sustainable Design Expo
