2009 Virginia Environmental Education Conference
& Professional Development Meeting for Virginia Naturally Partners

September 9 (Day registration)
September 10 (Optional field trips)
Hampton University

This year's conference is presented by the Virginia Naturally program of the Virginia Office of Environmental Education in partnership with Hampton Roads Alliance for Environmental Education.

The Emancipation Proclamation was delivered to an audience from underneath the historical Emancipation Oak on the Hampton University Campus. From speeches to written communication, the ways that we communicate have multiplied. We communicate diverse topics to diverse groups of people in a myriad of ways.

This year's conference will highlight various areas to help you get the message out about environmental education. Possible topics include social marketing, web tools and technology, reaching diverse audiences, controversial topics, program evaluation, out of the box techniques and strategic planning.
