A Watershed Directory/Model for the York River and Gloucester County
In this project students compile a list of point and non-point sources of pollution to the York River Watershed as bounded by Gloucester County. Through field trip site visitations students investigate water quality and user issues by taking their own quantitative measurements, interviewing site managers and researching applicable local, state, and federal laws.
